Director Statement

I directed Moving Out during my second year at Birmingham City University. It's a film about the physical and psychological experiences of grief but also trying to move on and heal from it. I wanted it to speak for itself, using extremely minimal dialogue so it shows you the event rather than hinting at it or just telling you. I'm incredibly pleased with how this project turned out, it wouldn't have been the same without the work of every group member involved and the filmmaking tutors from Birmingham City University.
